  • Do I have to share a room?

At our retreats, we offer various accommodation options to suit every preference and budget. Whether you're looking to save by sharing a room, or you prefer the solitude of a private room for your stay, we've got you covered. Our goal is to ensure that your accommodation enhances your experience with us, catering to your comfort and privacy needs.

  • What should I bring?

Pack as if you're going on vacation, including comfortable day wear, swimwear, exercise clothes, a book or journal, and anything else essential for your trip.

We provide all necessary surfing equipment, like wetsuits and surfboards. Feel free to bring your own gear if you have one though!

  • How big are the groups?

Our retreats maintain an intimate group size of no more than 10 participants. This ensures each individual receives ample attention and support from the therapists, while still creating space for meaningful group interactions and connections.

  • What's included in the price?

All retreat prices include accommodation, food, surf and yoga lessons, mindfulness training, group therapy, psycho-education and airport transfers. You will have little to no extra costs, apart from your plane ticket to our location.

  • Is there an age limit?

The minimum age to join one of Ripple Surf Therapy’s retreats is 18 years.

  • Do I need a travel insurance?

Yes, you need travel insurance. Almost all travel insurance policies cover activities like yoga and surfing, but it's important to check this before you leave to ensure you're fully covered.

  • What can I expect from the food?

At Ripple Surf Therapy, caring for our participants is a priority. We offer healthy, nutritious, plant-based dishes made from fresh, local, organic produce.

If you have any allergies, intolerances, or specific dietary requests, please let us know!

  • What's your stance on alcohol at the retreat?

We choose not to serve alcohol.

We believe that a clear mind is essential for the introspective work our retreats encourage, and alcohol can impede this process. This approach supports our commitment to providing a setting that enhances mindfulness and facilitates a more profound connection with oneself and the natural surroundings.

  • What is the language used during the retreat?

Our retreats are conducted in English to accommodate participants from all nationalities, creating an inclusive and global atmosphere. This choice ensures that everyone, regardless of their background, can fully engage with and benefit from our program's offerings.

  • What are the exclusion criteria for participating

At Ripple Surf Therapy, ensuring the safety and well-being of our participants is paramount. Therefore, we have specific exclusion criteria, including suicidality, being in an acute crisis, and heavy substance use. To ensure we can provide a safe and supportive environment for all, each participant undergoes an intake process. This allows us to understand everyone's needs better and confirm that our retreats are a suitable fit, maintaining a safe and conducive space for healing and personal growth.
